"I could go on and on about the magical mystery of how art seems to transcend the bandwidth limitations of communication… we feel more than we know, and we know more than we can say. Yet occasionally someone says something that bypasses all of that, striking at the heart of our feelings, and triggers this cascade of truth-feeling that itself can feel transcendent." this sentence in itself triggered the 'truth-feeling – thank you!

Spoke to many things I've felt, put so eloquently and with a smile on my face. Thank you ❤️

At the risk of sounding like I'm tooting my own horn (though I rarely share links to my own stuff, to a fault), maybe this piece I wrote connects, especially now that you're a dad: "Dr Strangelove — Or: How I learned to Stop Overthinking & Love the Doubt." - https://newsletter.jibranelbazi.com/p/how-to-stop-overthinking

It's my most honest piece and was my entry to Tasshin's writing contest in the fall of 2022. Lot's of tpot(adjacent) mentions and some humor as well. Still my most read post. Also the post that I postponed the longest to write.

All that is to say, I resonate with what you wrote—as well as your other pieces on the topic of (overthinking) writing/art—and had to think of this piece I wrote as my personal "answer" to many of the "why" questions you posed in your last section above.
